Made for contemporary gentlemen and imbued with the spirit of vintage car racing, this chronograph is designed for racing, ensuring eight-of-a-second measurement of short times. It features a generously proportioned 44mm case with a solid case-back engraved with the Mille Miglia logo on a black PVD-treated checkerboard pattern – a nod to the racing flag.
The movement
The COSC-certified chronometer is powered by a mechanical self-winding movement (not specified which one) beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement ensures around 48 hours of power reserve.
The dial
The snailed grey dial is framed by a tachymeter scale and an inner bezel ring printed with seconds numerals. A dedicated-sweep seconds hand tracks the seconds along the ring, leaving as much space as possible on the dial. The two chronograph counters, the minutes at 12 o’clock, and the hours at 6 o’clock, appear in anthracite grey with a white. A small seconds counter is at 9 o’clock position. The date is, for the first time, positioned beneath a domed crystal.
