Hublot, official timekeeper of the Premier League has just presented a limited edition of its connected watch, the Big Bang e: the Hublot Big Bang Premier League replica watch in titanium, a new evolution of this timepiece which includes a dedicated application, a new dial as well as a unique purple bracelet - the signature color of the Premier League.
February 2020, Hublot presented a limited edition of its Classic Fusion, in a chrono version, intended for fans of the most prestigious European championship, the famous Premier League. A series of 100 blue ceramic pieces with a skeleton dial.
A year later, the watch brand most involved in the world of football returns with a new special edition, this time limited to 200 pieces and in polished and satin-finished titanium. Inspired by the Hublot Big Bang e smartwatch launched last year, it offers several additional features specifically designed to enhance the experience for Premier League aficionados.
The app sends the user animated notifications to inform them of the kick-off of Premier League matches (15 minutes before the start of the match), goals, penalties, substitutions, yellow and red cards as well as additional times.
The dial
The dial can also be configured to display the time in digital or analog mode and automatically switch to "match mode" at the start of a match.
The app also communicates team composition and VAR decisions. At the final whistle of a match, a countdown starts to show the time remaining until the next match. And when two games are played at the same time, the user can switch between them by simply touching the display.
Hublot will equip Premier League referees with a special version that will not be marketed. Cast in an ultralight composite, this watch will be even lighter than its ceramic counterpart. It will also benefit from additional features, including technology on the goal line that allows the referee to know whether the ball has completely crossed the goal line.
The strap
The strap is in the Premier League color and has a microblasted black ceramic buckle. It can be quickly changed thanks to the “One Click” system developed by Hublot. The owner can quickly change the look of his watch by opting for other strap colors and different dial configurations.
